Error assembling WAR: webxml attribute is required (or pre-existing WEB-INF/web.xml if executing in update mode)
I’m working on a migration from a project from ANT to MAVEN and during my work I got this error while doing a:
Maven command:
mvn war:war -X
Error found:
Error assembling WAR: webxml attribute is required (or pre-existing WEB-INF/web.xml if executing in update mode)
Solution place:

I believe what you said made a bunch of sense. But,
consider this, suppose you added a little content?
I am not suggesting your information isn’t solid., but what if you added a title that grabbed people’s attention?
I mean Error assembling WAR: webxml attribute is required
(or pre-existing WEB-INF/web.xml if executing in update mode) |
LIFE NOTES is kinda boring. You might glance at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create news titles to get viewers to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab readers interested about everything’ve written.
In my opinion, it could bring your blog a little bit more interesting.
